I spent some time looking for the right mats for our garage home gym. Our squat rack is mounted to the wall and the columns did not rise much from the ground, so the tiles needed to be thin but also cushioned enough. These are perfect. They’re super easy to install and the price is incredible. We had to cut some pieces, but it was very simple to do. I would recommend using scissors instead of a utility knife if you need to cut, this’ll give you a cleaner edge. I love the feel of them underneath my feet when jump roping as it’s a softer landing. I can’t recommend these enough.

Pros:Product is ok for the price. It went together well and all pieces fit nicely together. The thickness is right under .5 of an inch.Nice padding for exercise underneath feet.Cons:Diamond plate texture on top is quite slippery for MMA activities. After walking on the mats and entering another room your feet feel very slick and seem to be covered in a film. It did have a slight chemical smell to them. I scrubbed the top of the tiles with a carpet brush and warm soap water. It did seem to get the film off.If you have tile floor you have to, HAVE TO, get an underlay. The pieces will slip like you steped on a bananna peel with out one. So I went to Walmart and bought a rug underlay. It was $19.97 and it worked perfectly to help it from slipping from underneath you.In conclusion,It’s nice padding, so far the pieces seem to be holding together. I’ll update my review after doing more workouts, the joints might need tape. There is a slippery chemical film on the top layer that is slick and will stick to feet. You have to purchase a rug underlay for this product to not slip out from underneath you.One of the images shows how the joints have a layer of glossy film on them and the tile it self no longer does. This is because I cleaned the tiles and not the joints to keep water out of them.

The ProsourceFit Puzzle Exercise Mat ½ inch has been an absolute game-changer for our home gym setup. Not only does it provide a comfortable and supportive surface for our workouts, but its versatility and durability make it a standout flooring solution that we rely on every day.First and foremost, the cushioning and support provided by these foam floor tiles are exceptional. Whether we’re doing high-intensity workouts, weightlifting, or yoga, the ½ inch thickness of the mats offers just the right amount of impact absorption to protect our joints and reduce fatigue during long sessions. The interlocking puzzle design of the mats is incredibly convenient and easy to assemble. We were able to customize the layout to fit our space perfectly, and the interlocking edges ensure that the tiles stay securely in place even under heavy use. Plus, if we ever need to move or expand our home gym, it’s a breeze to disassemble and reconfigure the mats as needed. One of the standout features of these mats is their durability. We’ve been using them under our gym equipment for several months now, and they still look and perform like new. The high-density EVA foam material is resistant to scratches, dents, and moisture, making it ideal for withstanding the rigors of daily workouts and heavy equipment.Additionally, the versatility of these mats extends beyond just our home gym. We’ve also used them for activities like stretching, meditation, and even as a comfortable surface for our kids to play on. The non-slip surface provides added safety and stability, giving us peace of mind during our workouts.Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the ProsourceFit Puzzle Exercise Mat ½ inch. So stoked we purchased these mats for our studio. They are a great price for the amount you get and super soft. We wanted them for the quality and cushioning for my husbands work room. They are extremely durable and quiet when you walk on them. Could not go wrong whether they are for work or for a play room they are perfect.

Mats are lightweight, fit together nicely and the removable edging can be easily cut and used to fill in gaps where needed. The mats are cushiony and allow workouts in bare feet but be careful not to drop a weight on your feet!

These are decent, I would buy a 12 pack though.
These are nice and easy to assemble… my only gripe is, if you don’t have a lot of them, then it things could get messy.I bought 6 of them initially, it wasn’t enough for what I needed so I had to buy 6 more. I ended up spending an extra $30 I could have saved if I just bought a 12 pack… more is always better… so just buy 12… it’s the best bang for your buck.I would also recommend buying some double sided tape (alien tape) or something along those lines and placing small pieces in the corners and along some of the edges just to hold these things in place. If you don’t have weight on top of them at all times, they tend to slide around on slick flooring… so as a precaution, tape them to the floor with double sided tape so you don’t trip and fall due to them sliding around in an open area. The only real dumb thing about these are those edges that are adjustable… I mean I get it, it’s the utility and functionality of them that makes them so nice but those edges tend to just come off if you hit them the wrong way with your feet. When you’re laying them out you have to adjust them accordingly and replace some ends with other types just to make them look proper… it’s a weird gripe but you’ll see what I mean when you assemble them. You’ll be trying to find the edge that matches the one you need so you’ll be pull them apart trying to find the right fit. It gets kind of obnoxious upon the first setup… you’ll then be left with excess foam cutouts that you’ll have to store somewhere in case you ever move and have to readjust them… LOL.Any way, these thing serve their purpose and they’re cheap so whatever, I recommend them regardless of the quirks they present to the user.
