This an updated review. My original review (2 stars) is below for reference.The company reached out to me after complaining about my bottle not being insulated well, and rushed a replacement to me. Kudos for customer service and standing behind their product!I got the new bottle this afternoon, washed it out and filled it with ice and water. It has been over 6 hours now and the ice is still going strong and the water is brrrr cold, even after leaving the bottle in the truck for over an hour while we went somewhere (in Arizona heat).My original bottle didn’t stay cold this long even in the air conditioned house, and the water got really warm if ever left in the truck. Compared to the replacement it is now obvious that first bottle was defective and not the norm for this product.Updated conclusion: Great product, great customer service.—“Good concept, terrible insulation”I had high hopes for this water bottle. It looks rugged to handle camping, hunting, trips to the gym, etc. I like that it came with 2 different style lids for versatility, and the cover with a pocket, clip, and MOLLE web comes in handy. Where it lacks though is the one place that makes this bottle super aggravating – the “insulation” is terrible. I filled this thing with ice and cold water, and after a bit I noticed the outside cover was damp. I took the bottle out to notice it was sweating! I also noted the ice melts completely within a few hours even inside. Outside it’s useless -filled with ice and water and took a 30 minute drive, stopped for lunch, when I got back to the truck not only had the ice melted but the water was very warm. The $10 “bubba” bottles I bought at Walmart will hold ice all day and sometimes I to the next morning, so for $30 I expected more than a few hours of cold.2 stars for the design and cover, but I’ll try finding a different bottle to fit in the cover.

I can’t recommend the Iron Infidel Battle Bottle enough—this thing is incredible! It keeps my water cold for days, so it’s with me everywhere, from the gym to restaurants. The handle is sturdy and hasn’t given me any trouble, which is great because I carry it constantly. It comes with different sleeve options (you get to choose one free with the bottle, if I remember correctly), and there’s a variety of patches you can add for a personal touch. I used to be in the National Guard, so I put my own flag patch on it—looks awesome!This bottle is especially useful for gym sessions, CrossFit, and I’m sure it’d be great for hiking too. I haven’t tried that yet, but I take it with me everywhere, so it’ll be ready when I do. I feel lost without it now, and I even take it to restaurants because I prefer drinking my own water. If you want a durable, versatile water bottle that holds up in any situation, this one is the best!

This thing was a little pricey but very worth it. It keeps ice for several days. The stitching is solid and the multicam looks great. Would recommend.

I’ve dropped this thing like 100 times and not a single scratch or scrape. It sets in the back of my box truck while I cut, bang, hammer and nail all day. It normally holds ice for 2 days. I haven’t put anything hot in it so not sure about that. Looks fantastic in the sleeve works really good. I keep my cell phone drill bits and all kinds of miscellaneous stuff in it.

This jug helps me get my daily water intake in as I am sure everyone else has stated. The sleeve itself is great and I drag this on the ground at the gym, throw it on the counter top, take it to baseball practice and put it on gravel, so this thing is sturdy. The jug keeps ice in it for roughly 12 hours, which is all I need. The braid on the hook that acts as a handle however, needs improvement. It started coming undone within the first 48 hours of use, but I took the part that was coming undone and tied a knot that has since lasted just fine. It isn’t as clean looking now, but does the job so just keep that in mind.Ultimately it does the job, and is pretty unique compared to other jug sleeves. Pockets are a big plus to carry earbuds, lock, etc.

I ordered this product a week ago and I wanted to wait to review the bottle after a weeks worth of use. So I’m gonna start off with the con, the ONLY complaint I have about this water bottle. My complaint is, I’m a little confused on why the bottle came with a tan lid, when in the picture for the bottle labeled Betsy which is the one I ordered shows a black lid and not a tan lid. Not overly concerned about that but I just wanted to make it known.So now let’s get to the pros. I am very pleased with the sleeve, absolutely love the design. I think its really cool with the pockets, the ability to add your own custom patch (which I haven’t done yet) and the molle straps, hook and handle. I work in construction and do a lot of work outside between the farm and help running the family business. I can tell I’m gonna get a lot of use out of my bottle. One hand on the bottom for support and the other hand holding the handle for direction and you’ll be enjoying one crisp gulp of ice cold water that is very refreshing. I wanted to see how long the ice would last and it very well exceeded past 24 hours. Very easy to clean and use, doesn’t leak at all. I’m very impressed with this bottle, highly recommend. Definitely beats a Stanley cup any day! Thank you iron infidel!

This water bottle is fantastic for those always on the move. It is large enough to not need a refill super often and it feels sturdy and strong. The cap also feels tight and secure, never worry about it leaking. The pockets included with the sleeve are great and I love being able to put my keys, headphones and other random items in it to take around with me. Feels like the equivalent of carrying a purse around as a man, love the extra storage.

Initially when ordering I thought the price to be a little high but I’m glad I ordered it and it is worth it. Great material, great bottle. Stays relatively cool for hours in 30 degree Celsius weather. Pockets can hold most phone models and a good size knife. Lots of paracord and it’s makes a great handle. I’ll likely buy more sleeves in the future. Great product and it is exactly as advertised. I purchased the 2l bottle.
